Call or visit any of the local sites where programs are offered -- Kingston Employment Services (KEYS) or Kingston Literacy & Skills. On-site LINC coordinators are pleased to explain what the classes involve and answer any other questions you may have about learning English.
Registrations are accepted at any time. You have a choice of attending classes full-time (both mornings and afternoons) or part-time (mornings or afternoons). The classes are offered Monday through Friday.
When you join a class, your current skill level is assessed in four areas: listening, speaking, reading and writing. This ensures a proper match between your language proficiency and the appropriate level of your LINC program. Assessments are conducted on site using the Canadian Language Benchmark standards.
